Job Title: AI Full Stack Developer (MERN). Location: Chennai. Candidates must be willing to work from our Chennai office - mandatory requirement. Experience: 2-3 years. Role Overview: AI-Powered Full Stack Developer who builds modern, AI-native web applications on the MERN stack and has hands-on experience building AI agent features. Key Responsibilities - AI Agent Development (Core): Build, extend, and productionise AI agent features - tool calling, multi-step workflows, memory handling, and structured output validation. Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and similar) into product features with robust error handling, retry logic, and fallback chains. Implement guardrails, output validation, and hallucination checks for enterprise B2B use. Harden AI-generated and prototype code for production - adding tests, securing endpoints, and resolving edge cases. Work with AI frameworks or libraries such as LangChain or equivalent. Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. Build responsive, scalable React.js frontends. Integrate frontend components with backend APIs, databases, and AI services. Backend & Database: Build backend modules independently - Authentication, User Management, Dashboard APIs, Notifications, and Admin modules. Design and manage MongoDB / PostgreSQL databases and schemas; write optimized MongoDB queries using Mongoose, including aggregations and indexes. Implement authentication, authorization (RBAC), and API security. Follow clean architecture principles - MVC or layered architecture with Controllers, Services, Models, and Routes. Must-Have Skills: Backend Development: Node.js, Express.js. Database Management: MongoDB, Mongoose, PostgreSQL. API Development: RESTful APIs. Programming Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript. Frontend Development: React.js. Version Control: Git. Authentication & Security: JWT Authentication. Architecture & Design Patterns: MVC Architecture, Layered Architecture. Nice to Have: Redis; Vector Databases; WebSockets; Microservices Architecture; Job Queues and Background Workers; Docker, CI/CD Pipelines; Unit Testing. AI & GenAI Skills: OpenAI API, Claude API, Gemini API; LangChain and LangGraph; Prompt Engineering; Structured JSON Outputs; AI Chatbots and AI Assistants; AI Agent Development. Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Pay: Rs 500,000.00 - Rs 800,000.00 per year.
