Job Overview
We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our growing technology team. This is a full-time role based in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in backend development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Design and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing features
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel (Mandatory)
- 1+ years of experience in PHP/Laravel development
- Good knowledge of MySQL and database design
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party API integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Bootstrap, basic Linux server environments, Composer and Laravel best practices, Agile development methodologies.
