Full Stack Developer (PHP/Laravel, Node.js/Express & React)-Skillenable
About the Role
We are looking for a talented and driven Full Stack Developer to join our technology team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel, Node.js (Express), React, MySQL, and MongoDB. The role covers the complete software lifecycle - development, testing, deployment, production releases, server management, monitoring, and post-deployment support. Hands-on experience with production deployments, Linux server administration, testing, and troubleshooting live applications is mandatory. Experience with Claude Code and AI-assisted software development is also mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications
- Build robust backend services using PHP/Laravel and Node.js (Express)
- Develop responsive and high-performance frontend applications using React
- Design and optimize MySQL and MongoDB databases
- Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services
- Perform end-to-end testing, debugging, and quality assurance before production releases
- Plan, execute, and monitor production deployments with minimal downtime
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux production servers (Nginx/Apache, PM2, SSL, Cron)
- Utilize Claude Code and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Backend: PHP, Laravel Framework, Node.js, Express.js, REST API Development, Authentication & Authorization
- Frontend: React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
- Database: MySQL, MongoDB, Database Design & Performance Optimization
- Production: Linux Server Administration, Nginx/Apache, PM2, Cron Jobs, SSL, Git & GitHub, CI/CD, Monitoring, Backup & Recovery
- Testing & QA: Functional Testing, API Testing (Postman), Regression Testing, Root Cause Analysis
- AI-Assisted Development: Hands-on experience with Claude Code (mandatory)
Preferred Skills
Docker, Redis, WebSockets, Microservices, Automated Testing, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, Hostinger VPS). Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama), AI agents, chatbots, document processing, RAG pipelines, or AI workflows is highly desirable.
