Job Role: PHP Developer | Location: Bangalore, India
Roles and Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code; test, deploy, and maintain all back-end components of the product
- Optimize application performance by properly managing the central database and responses to front-end requests
- Assist front-end developers with system integration
- Ensure user requirements are met through thorough assessment, planning, and execution
- Implement security protocols for system data
- Write high-performance, testable, reusable, and scalable code
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting for issues, provide technical support
- Integrate server-side logic to user-facing components built by front-end developers
- Incorporate data protection and cybersecurity measures
- Identify and implement data storage solutions
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar (plus but not required)
- Proficiency in PHP programming language
- At least 5 years of experience as a PHP developer
- Knowledge of server-side technologies such as Apache, Nginx, and Ubuntu
- Experience with MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CakePHP
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
