R&D Specialist - WordPress (Brainstorm Force, Pune/Remote) About the Role: As a WordPress R&D Specialist, you will play a crucial role in researching user needs, analyzing competition, identifying interesting use cases and features, and helping our development team understand them before and during the development process. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our products meet and exceed user expectations while outperforming the competition. Key Responsibilities: Research and Analysis: - Conduct thorough research on user needs and preferences, staying up-to-date with industry trends and market demands. - Analyze competitor products, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and use this knowledge to inform our development process. - Discover and document interesting use cases, features, and enhancements based on user feedback and market research. Product Design Collaboration: - Work closely with the product design team to brainstorm and contribute to the creation of a beautiful user experience. - Provide insights and suggestions for improving the visual design, usability, and overall user interface. - Collaborate with designers to ensure that user requirements and research findings are incorporated into the design process effectively. Development Support: - Collaborate with our development team, providing insights and guidance during the development process. - Help translate user requirements and research findings into clear specifications and actionable tasks. - Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions to enhance the overall functionality and user experience. You Must Have: - Strong understanding of WordPress and experience working with WordPress page builders and website builders, with particular emphasis on Gutenberg. - Experience in conducting user research, competitor analysis, and translating findings into actionable insights. - Solid knowledge of website development processes, including front-end and back-end technologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. - Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
